Proudly representing the village of Riddlesden since 1882!
The Club
Riddlesden Cricket Club is located beside the River Aire in the somewhat leafy Keighley district of Riddlesden.
It is believed the club began life playing on a field at the top of Riddlesden, somewhere near the Willow Tree Inn around 1882.
We have played at our current location off Grange Road since 1896.

Spectators are welcome - indeed encouraged. There's no charge, just come down and say hello.

The Clubhouse
The clubhouse was refurbished following the 2015 floods & boasts a modest bar area serving soft and alcoholic beverages and a range of snacks, TV, and a very snazzy pool table. Music is ever present, but whether you will appreciate the barstaff's audio selection cannot be guaranteed.

Secure home and away changing rooms are attached to the clubhouse.
Toilets are available 'outside', attached at the rear of the building.

The Pitch
The pitch has been in use for over a century now despite frequent floodings courtesy of the neighbouring River Aire. Over the last few off-seasons, we have laid a number of new drains which, whilst not preventing the flooding, at least allows the waters to recede far quicker than they used to.

The wicket is laid on an East-West line, and as the wind generally blows from the West, this can have some bearing on bowler tactics.
Additionals
There is limited (off road) car parking available at the bottom of the access lane.
An outdoor patio area with assorted seating provides for a good mid-wicket view of the match.
The scoreboard is functional rather than ornate, but provides plenty of entertainment for those watching from the patio as you can't quite see the whole of the score from there : )

Recent improvements include a portable flip-style scoreboard for out dorr scoring when the weather is nice, a new 3.5M net along the river boundary that players seem to view as something to clear rather than to save the ball, and we're working on turning the top wild area into a well mown additional seating area in due course.
