2022 Champions

And just like that, Riddlesden finish the season as Champions!

21 league wins from a possible 22, with not a single match lost to the weather, plus a runner-up spot in the Manorlands Plate, 2022 has been a season to savour.

Huge congratulations and thanks to Gully and the team.  Take the winter off now and recharge - the first division awaits next year!

Welcome to Division 2

The new season is upon us and this year we're in division 2.  Excitement and expectation abounds.  Will we flourish or flounder?  Will it be a hot, dry summer or, you know, a normal one.  Will I get the blog updated each week in good time - not a chance.

But here's to the 2022 season, I hope we all enjoy it.

Respect

At last competitive cricket returns and everyone is overjoyed at the prospect of a full cricket calendar this year.

But opening day also coincided with the funeral of HRH Prince Phillip, and we were proud to observe an impeccable minute's silence in honour at Riddlesden Cricket Club.

Now on with the season - best of luck everyone!

Good Riddance

So that was 2020?  Not impressed I've got to admit - one to forget really.

Get out of here 2020, you're not welcome any more.

Hello 2021 - are you going to be nicer?

Happy New Year everyone!

Bob Morrisroe & Steve Kernan are doing the Great North Run for charity (Manorlands) so why not sponsor them and make their pain worthwhile  (beyond the obvious micky taking of course!)
